Professional Development Specialist- Covers all Head Start -NW Counties

Big Five Community Services, Inc is hiring for a Professional Development Specialist. Position Covers – All Head Start Northwest Counties Responsible for monitoring the classroom operation to maintain Head Start regulations and Department of Education 4-year-old regulations. Responsible for providing Pre-Service and In-Service training sessions for staff. Serves as CDA and OCCC’s trainer for Head Start staff. Responsible for the Child Abuse/Neglect Component. Serves on the Head Start Management Team. Shares in the responsibility for the safety and well-being of the children.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood related field. Prefer classroom experience and Early Childhood Development Certification. Must have leadership ability, good interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be free of communicable diseases and have no criminal history as verified by the OSBI. Must have current driver's license and vehicle insurance.
